Constructed from durable stainless steel, it features a convenient base for storing items such as jerry cans of deep-frying fat. At the bottom, a drain tap equipped with a filter allows for easy and efficient removal of old oil while ensuring that crumbs and residue are not drained with it. Additionally, the fryer has a cold zone to prevent food particles from burning, maintaining the quality of the frying fat. It’s equipped with a stainless steel frying basket, a secure lid, overheating protection and a safety switch located beneath the heating element.

Simple operation

Operating this fryer is simple and hassle-free, perfect for preparing fresh chips. First, fill the tank with frying oil between the minimum and maximum markers and turn the machine on. An indicator light will signal when the oil has reached the ideal temperature, although the heating process is slightly longer than an average fryer. The thermostat, adjustable with a rotary knob, offers a temperature range from 60°C to 200°C. Once the oil is ready, place the fries into the basket, but avoid overfilling it. Overloading can result in uneven browning and increased cooking time. When the fries reach the desired golden color, you can hang the basket on the electric unit using the front rack. This position allows excess oil to drain into the tank, giving you perfectly crispy fries.

Regular cleaning

To prolong the life of your deep fryer, it’s essential to replace the frying fat regularly and clean the entire unit thoroughly. Before starting the cleaning process, ensure the fryer is turned off and unplugged and the exterior has cooled. Position a container or jerry can under the drain tap, then empty the used frying fat. Once drained, make sure to turn off the tap.

Next, remove all loose parts and clean them using warm water and a mild detergent. The frying basket is dishwasher-safe, but washing the handle by hand is best to prevent discoloration and brittleness. Once all components are clean and grease-free, dry them thoroughly. Clean the oil tank similarly, draining dirty water into a container if needed. You may need to repeat the cleaning process for the oil tank to ensure it’s spotless. Be sure the tap is closed before filling the tank with soapy water. Once the oil tank is clean, dry it with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive pads, as they can scratch the stainless steel. After everything is cleaned and dried and the drain valve is securely closed, reassemble the fryer and refill it with fresh oil.
