Heavy Duty Bain Marie – Double Unit – 70cm Deep – Electric

Do you work with ingredients that should not get too hot in case they burn or separate? Then this bain marie that works on gas is ideal for helping you melt chocolate or heat sauces, for example. It offers a perfect way to cook food, as well as keep it warm. Fill the bain marie manually with water and the monoblock water basin is completely watertight. To remove the water, you can quickly and easily drain it off using the drain tap. 

Suitable for GN containers

This electric bain marie is suitable to use with GN containers. The GN containers fit the bain marie perfectly so that no heat is ever lost. The containers are not supplied as standard, but you can easily order them through our website. This way, you can determine for yourself the exact configuration and the sizes of the containers you want to use. Without the use of spacers, you can insert 1/1 GN and 2/1 GN containers. When using 1/2 or 1/3 GN containers, you will need to use spacers, which are also available on our webshop. The maximum height of the GN containers that you can use is 15cm.

Simple cleaning

The bain marie hardly gets dirty during normal use. However, if you need to clean the appliance, make sure it is switched off after use and remove the GN containers. Be careful though, as hot water droplets can come off the trays. The GN trays can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Drain the water from the bain marie using the tap. The interior and exterior are made from stainless steel and can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Finally, dry all the parts and put the bain marie back together again.
