You can grill, warm, glaze, gratinate, and defrost in this deluxe salamander grill. It’s a multifunctional appliance that can cook meat, fish or vegetables. The salamander is height-adjustable and has a robust American design.
This salamander grill is suitable for grilling, au gratin, glazing, warming up or defrosting food and products. Thanks to its even heat, you can leave the appliance at a constant low temperature. This grill is very handy in professional kitchens as it provides a place to keep dishes warm after preparation. The temperature can be adjusted using the rotary knob which allows you to keep meals warm and slowly cook fish or meat.
Equipped with a lift handle
This professional salamander grill features a lift system. This means that you don’t have to move the grid with food, but bring the heating elements closer to the food by moving the top down with a lever. This is ideal for gratinating dishes. Afterward, you can move the top up again with the lever. The heating elements are durable and alloyed and the appliance is equipped with a temperature indicator. The grid is made from stainless steel on which products, dishes and food can be placed. At the bottom, there is a stainless steel crumb tray for collecting food residues. The handle on top of the salamander grill is made from insulating Bakelite.
Easy to keep clean
The grill also has a switch with a continuous function so that it can be left on for a long time. The salamander grill stands on four rubber feet for sturdiness. It’s important to clean the grill after each use to avoid leaving any smell or taste on new dishes. Before cleaning, turn off the appliance and leave it to cool. Remove the grids and clean them with warm, soapy water. You can also clean the grids and the crumb tray in the dishwasher. Then wipe down the stainless steel casing with a damp soft cloth.
